2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you browse designsvisions.com, use the contact form, and complete a checkout, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

We do not collect payment-card data. This site currently runs a demonstration checkout: no card number, expiry or security code you enter is transmitted to us, to a payment processor, or stored anywhere. If a live payment provider is connected in future, this policy will be updated before that change goes live.
4. Hosting
This site is served as static files from web hosting located in the EU/Germany. Standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser type) are created automatically for security and stability. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f).
5. Google Analytics 4 — only after your consent
We use Google Analytics 4, a web-analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Analytics script does not load until you actively accept it in the cookie banner or preferences panel. Once accepted, GA4 sets cookies to recognise your browser across visits and reports aggregated usage statistics to us. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. Data may be processed on Google's servers, including outside the EU/EEA, under Google's standard contractual clauses. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Manage cookie preferences" in the footer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a).
6. Order and invoicing records
Once an order is placed, invoice-relevant data is retained for the periods required by German commercial and tax law (generally up to 10 years under § 147 AO / § 257 HGB).
7. Recipients of your data
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with: our web-hosting provider (as a data processor); Google, for Analytics, only after consent; and, where legally required, tax or law-enforcement authorities.
8. International transfers
Where data is processed outside the EU/EEA (for example, by Google for Analytics), this happens under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally recognised safeguard.
9. Retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then delete it. Order/invoice data is kept for the statutory periods above. Analytics data is retained by Google under GA4's standard retention settings.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21). To exercise any of these rights, email support@designsvisions.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for us, that is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Ansbach.
11. Children
This site is directed at businesses and professional individuals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if what we collect or why changes — for example, if a live payment provider or a new analytics tool is added.
